Matt has been with Shelton since 2017 and has over 15 years of financial planning experience. He specializes in helping teachers and manufacturing professionals create a customized roadmap through their financial lives, as well as other working-class families interested in robust financial planning.
He graduated from Indiana University (IPFW) with a B.A. in Business Finance and Management (2008). While working towards his degree, Matt was also captain of the men’s golf team, which earned him the Cleveland Golf All-America Scholar award in 2006. A strong desire to build long-lasting relationships with his clients and help them pursue their financial goals is what led Matt to Shelton Financial Group. In 2014, that desire also drove Matt to fulfill the requirements to become a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ practitioner.
Matt holds Series 7 and 66 securities licenses. Matt also holds his life and health insurance licenses. Outside of work, you will find Matt at his son’s sporting events, on the golf course, or at home spending time with his family and friends. He is also currently serving on the School Board and Finance Committee at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church and School. Matt lives in Fort Wayne with his wife, Brandy, and their two sons, Owen and Ethan.
