Al came to Shelton Financial Group after a successful career with General Electric Company in Operations Management and Financial Analysis. He began his career with GE after graduating from Wheaton College with a B.A. in Economics (1977). While at GE, he completed an MBA in Finance and Accounting from Kellogg Graduate School of Management, Northwestern University (1985). Al is also a graduate of GE’s Financial Management Program (FMP).
A passion for personal financial planning lead Al to earn his CFP® designation in 2010. He also is Series 7 and 66 registered through Comprehensive Asset Management and Servicing, Inc. Brian’s quest to be an Investment Advisor Representative began from his own interest in financial investing and was fueled by his desire to help others achieve their personal financial goals and objectives. Matt came to Shelton Financial Group in February 2017 with over 8 years of financial planning experience. He graduated from Indiana University (IPFW) with a B.A. in Business Finance and Management (2008). While working towards his degree, Matt was also captain of the Men’s golf team earning the Cleveland Golf All-America Scholar award in 2006. A strong desire to build long-lasting relationships with his clients and help them achieve their financial goals is what led Matt to Shelton Financial Group. In 2014, that desire also drove Matt to fulfill the requirements to become a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ practitioner. Nathan came to Shelton Financial Group in June 2017. He earned a B.S. in Finance from Taylor University in 2017. As a member of the student managed endowment team at Taylor, he won a national competition for portfolio return in the fixed income market. Nathan was a member of the baseball team at Taylor as well. Nathan joins Shelton Financial in an administrative role with the hopes of being an advisor in the future. Nathan is Life, Health, and Long Term Care Insurance certified in Indiana. He is Series 7 licensed and actively pursuing the Series 66. He plans to complete the requirements for the CFP and/or RICP designations. When not in the office, Nathan enjoys spending time with his family. Much of that time is spent at his younger siblings’ sporting events. Bill is the Portfolio Manager of SFG Asset Management. He began his career in the financial services industry in 1988 as a stock broker for Merrill Lynch. Bill has been successfully designing and implementing strategic Asset Management models since 1994. Bill also holds several designations including the Certified Fund Specialist (CFS) and Certified Annuity Specialist (CAS).
Barb is the receptionist for Shelton Financial Group. In many cases, she is the face and voice of SFG. She also serves as the Policy and Procedure Coordinator, overseeing new business processing. Barb also coordinates many of our marketing events.

Amy joined Shelton Financial Group in the spring of 2015. She brings 20 years’ experience in the financial industry, primarily in the areas of accounting and customer service. Her principal roles with SFG focus on trading, cashiering, review preparation and custodial relationship maintenance. Amy attained a BS in Economics and Business Management from Huntington University; additionally, she is licensed in Property and Casualty Insurance. In her free time, Amy enjoys outdoor activities, church and community involvement, and especially spending time with her husband and young adult children.
